Janet Albert

Janet Albert, RN, BSN, CDE is certified diabetes educator, specializing in the area of intensive insulin management, insulin pump therapy, and glucose sensor technology. She serves Grunberger Diabetes Institute in a consulting role, supporting patients in their transition from multiple daily injections to insulin pump therapy. She also assists patients in the process of upgrading from an older insulin pump to a newer model that better meets their clinical needs. Ms. Albert provides insulin pump education for all brands of insulin pumps.

Ms. Albert received her Bachelors of Science degree from Mercy College of Detroit. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Organization of Diabetes Educators. She is committed to partnering with patients to help them achieve optimal blood glucose control, while preserving the freedom and flexibility associated with a great quality of life.
